With the hot and humid environment in Singapore, the majority of the offices have Air Conditioning. There are a few issues arising from this: Offices that do not have mechanical ventilation require to have more fresh air introduced. This is a new guideline to improve indoor air quality. 

Air Conditioning provides cold air to fixed areas and this causes hot and cold spots. In this instance, people will feel discomfort in prolonged times. Fixed air circulation causes dead spots in certain areas of the facility.
